Alvão Natural Park, small in size but of enormous beauty, is home to one of the largest waterfalls in Portugal and one of the largest in Europe, known as "Fisgas de Ermelo" with an extension of 200 meters.

Through its spectacular roads you can see endless plateaus, clear waters, maroon cows, wild goats, windmills, levadas, thatched houses, schist and black slate houses.
